The Yonex German Junior is one of the most prestigious international youth badminton tournaments in the world.
It is being held for the first time in Lüdinghausen, and young talents from over 30 nations are expected to participate.
The tournament is part of the BWF (Badminton World Federation) Junior International Series and, as a Grand Prix, is considered the highest category in youth badminton. There are four such tournaments worldwide, two in Asia and two in Europe.
